Had a slight issue with a booking due to some miscommunication. I was ready to start looking else as it did not appear the issue would be resolved. I then spoke with the manager, John, who was able to resolve the issue within minutes - as well as offering us a free upgrade! Fantastic service. I now have some very happy staff members. Great track layout and with the choice of adult karts that go either 50mph or 70mph, it will definitely get your adrenaline pumping! Staff are professional and take a serious attention to any drivers who are flouting the flag system. It seems they've had their current fleet of karts for a while, so you'll notice they're a bit worn aesthetically but that's to be expected. I've only had one serious issue with a kart malfunctioning in the whole time I've been there (getting close to 10 visits now), which was promptly resolved. Sessions are fairly expensive - but you pay for what you get - a quality outdoor karting experience. For these reasons I'd only recommend to those who are highly interested/experienced in karting.
Pros: Good outdoor venue with half decent karts Good organisation - the briefing can be a bit more through but overall good management of the event. Cons: They operate a non refundable policy. We had one party member who didn't come and they refused to reimburse the money. If it would have been fully booked I would have understood but it was only 75% booked( 23 out of 30 for the event). So be careful with this as I found it to be a bit cheeky. They could have at least provided some drink vouchers.
Always a good fun and day out at Sandown Daytona Outdoor Go-karting. The staff is amazing and the track is really good. Must say that the first car we used wasn't as good run but they let you change the car during the race. Thanks so much for such a lovely day. Suitable for teenagers and special slots for kids as well.
